At the moment I am very interested in video for the web, YouTube, iTunes U and some new codecs that have been recently released, namely Googles use of On2′s vp8 and Vorbis to take video to the next version of HTML.
H.264 is still my preferred codec, does a great job and can be used in a variety of places, youtube, iPhone, podcasting etc.
Podcasting has taken my interest of late, just looking for a subject that I feel strongly about, motiongraphics perhaps.
